Pop-Up Pusher Device (PUP)
This device, which is utilized for transfer of product onto perpendicular conveyors, employs a recessed Head Assembly, which pivots "up" from behind the product and pushes it onto a perpendicular conveyor. This unit is also used for palletizing applications and transfer of product onto protective base sheets (requires optional Sheet Clamp). 6'' of available overstroke is included to ensure product is fully transferred onto the perpendicular conveyor. This unit is an integral part of a Non-Power (NP), Power Live (PLR), or Power Accumulating (PARC) Roller Conveyor. Integral Take-Up Assembly is included for Power Conveyor applications.
Transfer Head: Two 1/2'' Steel Sideplates mounted to 4-1/2'' Dia. Tapered Ultra High Molecular Weight (U.H.M.W.) Wheels are connected to a 3-1/4'' x 2'' Tubular & Structural Steel Head Assembly. Head is driven by two (2) #60 chains connected to a common 1-1/2'' dia shaft mounted in precision pillow block bearings.
