Following the appointments last year of eight new associates to key management positions, C&M Conveyor has made a major investment in new laser cutting technology as part of its ongoing growth initiative to add capacity and increase productivity.
C&M Conveyor CEO, Don Laipple announced today the company has acquired a new laser cutter and brake press to permit advanced manufacturing processes while maintaining complete supply and quality control over manufactured parts.
Laipple said, “Last year was a busy one at C&M Conveyor, and 2014 promises to be more of the same. Our investment in equipment, people and product development are part of a major growth initiative to add capacity in all areas to meet the growing demand for our material handling solutions. We are increasing productivity and reducing lead times through vertical integration and reduction of supply chain variables.”
